Julian's particular areas of interest include parenting matters and property disputes. He frequently represents clients at mediations, conciliation conferences, and other dispute resolution forums. In keeping with the philosophy of Darwin Family Law, he seeks a mediated outcome where possible. In any given month however, Julian also provides representation and advocacy for a number of clients at the Federal Circuit Court, where most family law matters in Darwin are litigated.
Like Julie, Julian has lived in both Central Australia and Darwin and is a long term Territorian with a passion for family law. In addition to living in Central Australia for about a decade, apart from a short stint back to Alice Springs in 2005, Julian has called Darwin home for about 25 years. He lives with his working wife and 2 children in the northern suburbs of Darwin.
